Little America's 007 Rowdy Tornado

1988-2007  27"

Sire:  Lisa's Easter Bunny (Grandson of Rowdy)

Dam:  Crescent's Melodee

By:  Double O Seven and One Half Moto (National Grand Champion)

People can't believe how tiny Tornado is after seeing him in person... they say his picture looks like a sixteen hand horse, but he is only 27" tall.  His tornado shaped blaze set part of his name but his royal background did the rest.  His sire's dam was a 31" daughter of the immortal show horse sire, Rowdy, and his dam, Crescent's Melodee (27 3/4") was our favorite showmare for years.  She was a daughter of the National Grand Champion Senior Stallion, Crescent's 007 1/2 Moto.  Most of Tornado's foals have matured under 28", not as little, chunky, short-legged horses, but as elegant, tiny horses with style.  We recently learned that he was carrying the overo gene.  We look forward to capitalizing on that through his sons, Little America's Silver Tornado and Little America's Tornado Terrific and his grandsons, Melton's Tornado's Whirling Thunder,  and Little America's Too Incredible.  To say we admire his production is understating it considerably.

Pictured vastly overweight at age 18
